Returns or exchanges of Silhouette® & Cricut® products and Sewing & Embroidery machines are prohibited unless customer presents original receipt and products are in new, unopened condition. Warranty claims must be submitted directly to the manufacturer.

If you are going to buy this item against the reviews, definitely use the PayPal option... that for me, will refund any return shipping charges that I presume they get back from the seller. I ran into this issue with Jomashop last Christmas that gave a runaround for wrong watch sent, that was actually more expensive than the one purchased, but not what the recipient wanted. I opened claim with PayPal, including supporting photos, bought the return shipping from PayPal that was cheaper than post office with tracking and everything, including my return shipping cost was refunded.
