Not likely. It said value up to $79.99. Most, if not all, brushless tools are $99 or above.

I am 100% agreed with your advice. I started years ago with basic corded drill and screw driver. I ended up using more of the manual tools because too many stripped screw heads. I now own Ryobi tool set and I continue to add more tools because I got 4 free batteries when I got the deal couple years ago.
My corded drill is my dedicated mortar/grout mixer - I leave the mixing paddle in the drill permanently. 😃

Sad, no HP 1/2 inch impact Wrench on sale.
The 1/2" is just "meh". I've had quite a few jobs that it has let me down and forced me to borrow a real impact.

The new HP half inch impact is much better than the old one. 600 ft lbs of torque.

Why is this a deal for the good percentage of us who already have too many batteries? Basically paying $99 for a $60 tool. Unless doing the whole buy/return thing - kind of getting tired of doing that to.

Should call it Ryobi Daze!

Can anyone remind me of the walkthrough for online purchase and ease of returns? Purchase tool for local in store pickup, and batteries ship to home if you want to return later? Or both for in store pickup? Also does local store have to have the tool available in store in order to take advantage of deal or is some stock available online? I think my store only has like 2 of some of the odd duck tools and was out of the shop vac one year

They are not. The only time they were HP was back in 2019 when it was the 3AH packs.
I got that deal & brushless impact driver. Good old 2019

Not the new P262 , it's a beast for under $180

Terrible batteries, no overcharge protection. I lost two batteries from charging them overnight. The batteries ruin the product line for me. I switched to Milwaukee and have been going strong for awhile now.
I leave my batteries in the charger all the time. Never had a problem with my 10+ batteries for the last 6-8 years. Only had one that got a bad cell in it.

I guess its not a deal for you then ... shake head

For me, I get to replace (2) 1.5Ah 4+ year old batteries and get that hedge trimmer I've been keeping an eye on... so, good deal for me. Applause
