Not likely. It said value up to $79.99. Most, if not all, brushless tools are $99 or above.

Has anyone used their 18 V trimmer? I'm moving to a house with 2 acres needed to be mowed. Anyone has experience using electric tools for larger yards?
2 acres doesn't really say how much trimming you have to do. If you need to trim a fence that surrounds 2 acres, you will probably need to charge and use both batteries.

I have this and I like it quite a lot. Plenty of power to trim and edge, only run out of power if I dont charge first.

a bit disappointed again this year. The deals seem to get less punchy every year.

Went and picked up the angle grinder. Made the mistake of picking up the Ryobi new, smaller, lighter angle grinder with paddle switch. May just jump on the $99 deal that includes the bat, charger and new angle grinder...

On the fence on this tool -- I have a 8" pole saw that works really as well as a gas chainsaw.
I have 2 chainsaws, cheap electric and electric pole saw, live in 5 acres. For small branches and pruning the fruit trees we use a Ridgid cordless reciprocating saw. The recip saw is perfect for the wife.

In store I went to get 2 battery packs and 2 jigsaws, only 1 set was for me, and it defaulted to giving a battery pack for free instead of a jig saw. Had to check out separately. My thought is that maybe you aren't restricted to what's on the list of 16 things though??

If you don't need any of the tools, can you just return (or cancel pickup) the most expensive one to make the starter kit cheaper?

What happens if we return the battery and keep the tool. Do we get a refund?
Back in 2019, I think some stores were giving people hard time when they tried to return just one of the two items (tool and batteries).

Yes, but it was trying to get me 2 battery packs for the price of 1 by default and wasn't discounting the jig saws at all. I probably should have put the saw's back and accepted lol
