Not likely. It said value up to $79.99. Most, if not all, brushless tools are $99 or above.

Back in 2019, I think some stores were giving people hard time when they tried to return just one of the two items (tool and batteries).
Thanks

For anyone who just wants to buy 2 batteries for cheap then you should bundle with the Hedge trimmer and return the tool. That'd make $49.50 for 2 baterries.

Just bought a home, can someone please suggest a tool kit to buy on deal
I do not have any Ryobi tools yet. I have most of the B&D 20v tools but have been meaning to switch over.
If you are just starting out I would recommend sticking with only Ryobi tools because the ability to have a bunch of batteries that work with any tool is super convenient.
Start with a kit for the basics: https://slickdeals.net/f/15039172-ryobi-18-volt-one-lithium-ion-cordless-6-tool-combo-kit-with-2-batteries-charger-and-bag-p1819-199-99?src=SiteSearch

then I would get:

string trimmer (cordless string trimmers are fantastic)
blower (the 18v blowers are really only good for blowing leaves off a patio. Get the 40v if you need a leaf blower)
chainsaw (if you only have light branches you might be able to get away with a pruning saw blade in the reciprocating saw. If you have really large branches then you may need a 40v)

2 acres doesn't really say how much trimming you have to do. If you need to trim a fence that surrounds 2 acres, you will probably need to charge and use both batteries.

I have this and I like it quite a lot. Plenty of power to trim and edge, only run out of power if I dont charge first.
Thanks, you have a good point! It's mostly going to be areas between flower beds and trees where I can't access with my zero turn. I've been thinking between a gas and an electric but like the electric being cleaner to operate. Then there's 18V, 40V and 56V- power and weight… Hard choices for me as I've never used electric ones to know what level to go. Glad to know you have good experiences with the Roybi. I've been thinking about either Roybi or Ego if I go electric.

Sadly I wanted this 280CFM blower but it is not included in this sale despite it is priced at $68
https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI.../206542642

Even at 280CFM, I am not sure if it can well blow leaves off the lawn. I only have a small area to blow though, so it doesn't make sense to invest a lot on this tool. Any good recommendation for a blower under $100?

In store it may work. It works moderately well for leaves on the lawn, not great, and it takes me 2 battery charges for my front yard which is average sized. Gas is definitely superior.

A few things I learned from my 1-2 hours this morning

$49.50 for batteries only, if thats all you need. Add the $99 hedge trimmer and the batteries to your cart. Then you can cancel the hedge trimmer after placing your order.

You can cancel in store pickups by calling the store. Seems like you can only cancel shipped items online. There was no option to cancel the in store pickup. I called the local store and they canceled just the pickup portion for me. That way I was able to get just the batteries for $49.50

10" orbital buffer for $30 - order both this and the battery for shipping. Then cancel just the battery part of the order.

How do we get this work in store? Does it just work automatically, or we shall ask for a manager's approval with some printed ads? I tried to add both to cart and chose in store pick up, but no promo showed up that way.

That is what I did -- already have the 18v and 40v trimmers.

The guy got a lift and went up to the pallet and opened it for me and grabbed 2 packs, said the sale hadn't technically started yet Smilie
