Any thoughts on the NETGEAR Orbi Whole Home Mesh WiFi 6 System with Advanced Cyber Security, 3-pack (Item 1403595 - https://www.costco.com/netgear-or...33367.html[costco.com]) that will be on sale for $100.00 off at $399.99? Any good?
Anyone use this router with AT&T Fiber Internet? I have had no luck with my own routers with their internet service as there is no real DMZ setting so their modem/router gateway won't let all internet traffic through to the routers I have tried (Ubiquiti EdgeRouter 4, Google Nest, an old old Tp-Link router). I have been using the Wifi from the AT&T internet gateway modem/router, but it is terrible. The wifi signal strength is excellent, but it drops the internet connection constantly resulting in messages on our devices that there is no internet access.
I bought a nighthawk because everyone was sayin how great it was but the OS completely destroys it, I had it over a year and, for example, searching for connected devices every field was labeled "nil." Net gear was aware and never fixed it. Also if it every breaks you get ZERO support after the set time.
Their tire department has gotten incredibly stingy recently. I purchased snow tires and rims from them (rims were third party through Costco) and was told if they were mounted on the rims they would switch them over to my road set (and vice versa) as a part of the "free tire rotation." Then I went to do it and they said it will be $75. I was pissed.
Spoke to HQ for a while and they said, sorry, you have to pay extra despite what we said when you purchased them. I tried to explain to them that it is the same process as a rotation, you take the tires/wheels off and put them in another position. So instead of using the same tires/wheels, take the other set out of the back and put them in their place. There is no logical reason why this should cost more, especially when I was told otherwise.
I've always been charged for this that last 10 years.
You can do it that way, but its kind of a dick move making them have to restock your items. All you need to do is go to the customer service desk with your receipt and ask them to adjust the price. They will give you cash on the spot regardless of original payment method - they used to give you a Costco Cash card.
They still give cash cards, I got one a few weeks ago.
Anyone have experience with the LED flush mount light fixture? Being wanting to replace out boob lights since the pendamic ...
I bought one to replace a fixture in a walk-in closet that we remodeled. It provides a LOT of light!
We liked it so much that I got two more for the laundry/mud room and adjoining hallway. I paid the full $24.99 price and have no complaints. I'm remodeling two other walk in closets and building a third...all three will be getting these lights.
The light color temperature is not the coldest but also not very warm. That coupled with the fact that t is not dimable does not make it a fixture I'd want in a bedroom.
That's what I was thinking. I might pull the trigger in this. I want a 16GB but this might do for a while.
You can upgrade the ram in these (for much cheaper than Apple price upgrades). I haven't checked this specific model, but I upgraded the ram in my 2020 Mac mini (easy to medium difficulty since the ram slots were a bit buried under other removable components).

2020. Mac mini (M1, 2020) has memory that is integrated into the Apple M1 chip and can't be upgraded. You can configure the memory in your Mac mini when you purchase it.
Costco currently has the TP-Link Deco M9 3 pack for $159 ($40) off. I love it. I have used as access points with Cox router and as router with Surfboard router. I use 6 units to cover 3700 Sq ft and a 1000 Sq ft guest house 200 ft away. It does have dmz settings but I cannot speak to using those.
Yeah, that's pure horsesh1t. And their service has always been the slowest and worst. Costco tires are only good for price matching with Discount Tire.
Just so I understand, I can buy the tires at Discount Tires at Costco price? Thanks in advance🌸

I won't be buying Netgear again.
