Any thoughts on the NETGEAR Orbi Whole Home Mesh WiFi 6 System with Advanced Cyber Security, 3-pack (Item 1403595 - https://www.costco.com/netgear-or...33367.html) that will be on sale for $100.00 off at $399.99? Any good?
Anyone use this router with AT&T Fiber Internet? I have had no luck with my own routers with their internet service as there is no real DMZ setting so their modem/router gateway won't let all internet traffic through to the routers I have tried (Ubiquiti EdgeRouter 4, Google Nest, an old old Tp-Link router). I have been using the Wifi from the AT&T internet gateway modem/router, but it is terrible. The wifi signal strength is excellent, but it drops the internet connection constantly resulting in messages on our devices that there is no internet access.
I bought a Netgreat Orbi whole mesh wifi system last year for $300 at Costco with only difference probably being the coverage area because I think mine was 3000 sq ft. They're great if you have deadspots for wifi. Used to have a Cisco router that wasn't mesh and would encounter deadspots everywhere but with Netgear I now have access at my yard to the front yard yard of my house. Only annoyance is the SSID for 2.5 Ghz and 5 Ghz is merged into one SSID so if you have devices that cant operate the 5Ghz spectrum it can be annoying to set up to find the SSID but that only happened to my security floodlight but wasnt difficult to figure out. So the large area in coverage and really easy set up. Best part is during setup you can merge your old router SSID to your new router. So once your new router is set up you don't have to re-enter the password for your new router or have each and all of your old devices look for the new router as it'll be automatic.
Security feature is nice to have but not a necessity. Barely used it but i think its main feature was sending me notifications when a device was visiting a site with threats and thats all I ever used it for so never renewed it.
Any experience/thoughts on the Little Giant ladder deal? Might pick it up for my dad since Father's day is coming up
It's a slightly cheapened version compared to the standard (different locking mechanism to extend steps) but works fine. It is a little more difficult since you have to pull, twist it away from the lock hole, repeat for other side, adjust step lock position, twist back both sides into the hole. The standard version you just push a lever mechanism and it stays unlocked. You then change the step lock position the just tap the lever to lock it. For use every once in a while, it's not a big deal. If you were using it every day though, might be worth the money to get the non-Costco versions.
Anyone have experience with the LED flush mount light fixture? Being wanting to replace out boob lights since the pendamic ...
We had a few of these installed in the dining area, kitchen and girls bedroom. Nice and bright! Just keep in mind it's daylight color so you won't get any of that warm yellow light if that's what you're looking for.
Looks like the only reason I'm going to Costco this month is for the pizza and hot dog.
But they got rid of the combo pizza and the other two (pepperoni and all cheese) just aren't good enough to get my business. I would have even paid a couple more bucks for the combo.
