Pretty sure these offers only exist in markets where comcast has a competitor.

The only offer for me is 50mbit for $69.99 or local TV + 100mb for $65, both on contract. I'm currently on 100mbit for $49. I could even cancel and sign-up on a new name for less. These offers are straight-up scams.

Every year I call to 'cancel' and ask for the same deal again. This is what it looks like when you have no competition. Applause

I saw it earlier this afternoon on the day my existing plan expired and talked to Customer Loyalty where they were going to over me a repeat of $45/month on 100 Mbps but I pointed out their online offer and although it was for new customers, the rep was able to get me it. 400mbps for $30/month after $10 discount on paperless billing and autopay. Good for 12 months.

This was for San Jose. I have a relative in San Francisco and checked her account. She didn't have that offer. But they're giving her 50 Mbps for $40/month flat rate with no promotion, so that's good enough for her for a single studio apartment.

I went to "change plan" from my account, and i signed up for the 600Mbps internet only with flex tv for 40/month after 10 dollar off for auto pay enrollment. 1 year term. Bay Area here.

You might also need a new cable modem to support the speed. My SB6141 only goes up to 343 Mbps.

be careful with that flex tv, even though that's "internet only" tv, they charge a broadcast fee which is like another 8/mo

I told them to get rid of it, they can remove it from any plan without changing your promo

Good to know, will have to look out for it once i get the bill. I've been paying 60 for 200Mbps for almost a year now.

That's weird. The Customer Loyalty rep told me that it's completely free and there's no fees or charges for having the Flex TV. So I just told them to ship it to me by UPS to try it out.

I also Googled around and other sources are saying it's free as well.

The only issue is that you have to remember that streaming on Flex is part of the data usage cap per month and some people are not aware of that when they stream in 4K often which brings the data usage up significantly where you can get charged a fee for going over the 1 TB data cap.
