Pretty sure these offers only exist in markets where comcast has a competitor.

The only offer for me is 50mbit for $69.99 or local TV + 100mb for $65, both on contract. I'm currently on 100mbit for $49. I could even cancel and sign-up on a new name for less. These offers are straight-up scams.

Every year I call to 'cancel' and ask for the same deal again. This is what it looks like when you have no competition. Applause

I'm 50 miles east of the bay area and was on $50/400mbps and just switched to $30/400mbps. No fees to switch or anything. One year term starts now.

Set a reminder to check offers in 11 months cause after a year you go up to $80.

Thanks OP, great find.
It's actually 24 months price lock, 12 months is the minimum without cancellation fee.

Mine doesn't say that. On confirmation screen it says $40 for 12 months, then regular rates apply

The $50 offer is 24 month pricing with one year term.

The $30 offer of 12 month pricing with one year term.

Your modem will work. Just won't get max speeds. It'll cap out at the modem max

I was on a plan that was not part of a contract and I got the deal.
I currently pay $50 for 400mb under my current contract which expires around end of year. While I do see the $30 for 400mb in my account and I can add it to my cart, I'm afraid changing this plan will be considered canceling my old plan and thus subject me to the cancellation fee.

Anyone else in this situation but who upgraded to this promo while under contract with a different promotion and you didn't get hit with the early termination fee?

You should be fine because you're not canceling the account you can even downgrade, if need be. You can also go into the xfinity store if that's an option for you

Are the links supposed to take you to the deal? Im a current customer in Portland, OR, and I keep seeing the regular old plans displayed.

The best I see is 200mbps for $60 which is still better than my out-of-contract ass is paying now at $75, but still...

I was on the same boat as you. was paying $75 for 200mbps in Vancouver, WA. I just switched to CenturyLink last week for $65 unlimited data 940/940 (been getting 800/600 pretty consistently for a week) and its been okay so far.
Was hesitant with the reviews for CenturyLink but was tired of Xfinity 1.2TB caps with so so speeds.
Maybe give them a try.

Thank you. It Worked. Will wait for a deal on modem. Considering my area did not have an internet only plan before this, this is a great deal.
