Pretty sure these offers only exist in markets where comcast has a competitor.

The only offer for me is 50mbit for $69.99 or local TV + 100mb for $65, both on contract. I'm currently on 100mbit for $49. I could even cancel and sign-up on a new name for less. These offers are straight-up scams.

Every year I call to 'cancel' and ask for the same deal again. This is what it looks like when you have no competition.

I see $50 for 400Mbps, $60 for 800 Mbps and $70 for 1200 Mbps with 1 year agreement and autopay. Still looks like good deal. But not $30 for 400 Mbps. Not sure if the original deal expired or if it depends on the location. I am at San Francisco Bay Area, California.

I believe 6/22 is the last day according to the terms (could be extended). I just signed up yesterday for 50mbps for $20 after the $10/mo auto bill pay credit in Chicago area as a new customer (existing account but adding a new account).

Thanks for the clarification. Assuming rates are different depending on the location.

Yes, rates are different across the country based on "competitive market analysis". ;-)
Download is ludicrous speed at this point, but upload can make a difference depending on your needs:
100/5
200/ 5 or 10?
400/10
800/15
1200/35

I see now that there is an offer for Houston area for 800mbps for $40/month with 1 year contract. It was only 600mbps a couple of months ago.

I am considering upgrading from 400mbps for $30 to 800mps for $40. Seems like a great deal, but I honestly don't think I can utilize this much bandwidth with only 3 adults in the house. Increasing from 10mbps to 15mbps upload would be nice though.

Are they still charging "broadcast fees" if you only have Internet from them? If someone can confirm on the taxes being charged and any other misc. fees over and above the quoted price.

Triple check with a few more individuals, but …

Bay Area, $30 flat rate for 400 mbps. Internet only, No additional taxes or fees. That was one of my concern prior to sign up. I've only been charged $30/month. Xfinity billing statement, credit card statement, $30 dollars per month internet.

I'm in Texas. With a $30 internet only plan, there is only $0.16 of tax. So my final monthly bill is $30.16.
