Don't get this too close to the heat source, but these things turn a limp morning-after campfire back into an inferno quickly. I've also used it to kickstart a lit chimney of charcoal.

Is this good to use as Air Duster ? to clean keyboard, motherboard components ?
No one is answering this, and I don't have the tool, but I am going to say no. The nozzle is too large to give you high pressured air that you really need to get the dust out of those types of crevasses. you can find YouTube videos of it in use as a bench top blower/cleaner. it is very similar to how hard you can plow from your mouth, but of course can do it until the battery dies.

If I'm understanding it right, this could replace all of the compressed air cans we buy, right? Everyone in our house is working from home and doing education online. We are constantly cleaning out dust from computer systems thanks to living in the desert.
No one is answering this, and I think the first poster mentioning this use has no idea what this tool can do. Full disclosure, I don't own this tool. This is closer to blowing really hard with your mouth, but it can of course do it much longer and not get winded

The nozzle is too big to give you a high pressure stream of air similar to air in a can. It also can't get really close to those hard to reach crevasses that let air in a can work much better.

If you have to use a lot of air in a can I would suggest getting a simple air compressor if your space allows. It will pay for itself savings from buying air in a can. You can quickly inflate your car tires, and anything else to boot.

Looks perfect for cleaning out and dust on my fan and my keyboard
It is not. You need something with a much more narrow nozzle and higher pressure. Full disclosure I don't own this tool, but I have seen it work as a bench top duster for saw dust. If you blow hard on your keyboard you will have the same effect. The dust is pretty much stuck on your keyboard due to being caked on there for a long time. A high pressure stream from air in a can will dislodge it, and it can get in the crevices this has no chance getting into.

They don't give a CFM to compare to air in a can, but this produces a high volume low pressure air stream per the products description.

A compressor is not recommended for electronics because there may be moisture from the compressor tank.

I think it cleans the keyboard fairly well.

For $20, I completely agree. I don't have the inflator, but I do have a DataVac duster that never fails to blow me away (literally and figuratively). However, the DataVac is ~$85, which is not an easy price to justify if you just need an occasional dusting to remove dust, cheeto crumbs and dried boogers from the keyboard.

On the other hand, it is so freaking powerful it doubles as a leaf blower for my patio and porch... not even kidding. There's a continuous kickback when it's turned on from the thrust it produces.

I love using it for the sheer wow-factor, and it's ability to obliterate dust in PCs. If I dust a dusty computer on the patio table at night with a floodlight in the background, the dust cloud is super impressive as the dust particles reflect the light all over. Then again, maybe I'm just easily impressed lol.

I agree with you on the datavac duster! I've got one myself and it's insanely powerful for a small canister. My previous computer that I had for 5 years always looked new inside the case. Same applies to my current setup. It more than paid for itself with the savings of not buying the stupid air sprayer cans. It is safe for electronics. I used to buy the cans, but after buying them frequently for some time I decided to drop the $65 for the blaster. Better to cry once, than cry multiple times. I've had mine for over 7 years, so the savings are considerable. So if your household uses the cans for dusting computers, it's not even a question as to if you should buy the datavac. The question should be... why haven't you?

But returning to topic of the ryobi blower. I placed an order and will be picking it up tomorrow. It'll be great for the inflatable pool and cleaning out keyboard, instead of having to bring out the blaster and plug it in.

Good to see Ryobi making tools like these!

Scored one but the worker didn't make it easy! I tried ordering online but it kept saying there was an error. I went into the store since it showed limited stock. I dig around and actually find one box hidden behind the 737 model which I already have. I go up to pay and it rings up reg price $29.. I ask the lady if she can adjust the price and she goes...it's online and pick up only. I explain and show her the error I got and she comes back with because it's showing out of stock in store. I stand there for a few secs and stare at her...I then I reply, excuse me? She goes yeah, it's out of stock...I'm like umm I have one in my hand. She goes well I can't do anything since it's online and pick up only. So she gets a manager and I show her the exact same thing and tell her I tried ordering but your site keeps erroring out so she goes, Ok I'll honor it. lol.
Hey, that moronic worker deserves at least $15/hr!

Don't forget to check some of your Chase CCs (I think Freedom) for additional savings from home improvement stores this quarter. Also, some Home Depots will match Menard's 11% rebates (YMMV based on location).

If you doubt you'll need it for balls, then the one I linked is probably worse. I ended up coaching high school soccer this spring and having this to get the right PSI automatically was huge.
How does it automatically get the right PSI? I frequently have to inflate wheelchair tires and have had issues with over inflation! Does it have something you set the PSI to and then it just stops it? Or??

I got the combo with a charger and battery for about $50 I think. Works great.
