The gasket is made of SPC and ironically is in the same class of resins that is used by a few of my customers in things such as blood bag liners and IV's.

I agree, I need a deal like this for glass containers.

$2 bucks more but better set
the medium deep 4.7 cup Costco set has two
This is the size I use most followed by the medium reg 3,2 cup and the small 1.3 cup
No use for the tiny 0.5 cup
Large 9.6 cup gets used mostly for freezer or large bags of nuts or dried fruits that don't need access often. The lid takes more work than suits me for frequent access.
No, never microwave! They melt.
For salads and veggies I need a crisper that will breath, For that I haven't found anything better then the Rubbermaid Commercial which have easy access and are indestructible.

Melt?!
These don't melt. The lid is literally designed to have air holes for putting the whole thing in the microwave. Some people say microwaving any plastic is unhealthy. Those people are incorrect.
The holes in the lid make a huge difference because you can leave the lids on while reheating. Been using them for a good year now and it hasn't warped in the microwave. It did crack a little in the microwave, but that was my fault for leaving it in the bottom rack of the dishwasher.

Most people would do well to avoid putting plastic in the microwave. If it's the kind of thing you're not likely to do, then getting plastic food storage containers isn't going to kill you the few times you nuke 'em. But if you are buying containers so that you can take last nights leftovers to the office to heat up for lunch 4 days a week, get glass.

You are incorrect. Growing evidence suggests that analogs substituted for Bisphenol A (BPA), most notably BPS, are just as bad, and possibly worse than BPA. Of course, Rubbermaid doesn't give a shit about giving you heart or hormone complications. Buy glass.

First, America's Test Kitchen did a comparison of all kinds of containers. These are the front-runners in plastic. They were so good, that I bought a few pieces earlier, like, 4x pieces for $20. I did not buy more because of the expense. But, I jumped on 2 sets of these.
Second, they are the only plastic dishware that did not dye orange after holding pasta sauce. I tested this myself about two weeks ago, totally works.
Third, the sizes with this deal are all useful. The small ones are great for spices/small veg.
Four, the little tabs on the side double as vents and allow you to heat things and vent steam in a microwave.
For consumer grade quality, this is the bee's knees. For more commercial use, I'd recommend going Cambro. I have both. Because these are more conveniently sized and more beautiful than Cambro, I would go this route.
This is simply a good line of products. If I sound like a shill, whatever, I seriously farking love this dishware. It is for a really good reason, these are awesome. Get them.
