I bought it when it was $25, and I had the game crash about 25-30 times in my entire playthrough. I usually couldn't make it more than an hour before it would crash, sometimes setting me back 5-10 minutes IRL time. Other times it was only a few seconds.
The game is so poorly designed that it's essentially one you need to play as a linear story, except every ending was complete trash.
The game IS open world, but there are really only a few things that reward you for going around exploring the world on your own. If you want Skyrim levels of exploration, you're SOL.
Finally, the difficulty scaling is a joke. It's basically a slider for how big of a bullet sponge enemies are. They don't do anything special, and the balancing of the game in terms of abilities is non-existent. You can essentially turn into a wall-sniper with hacking abilities that can kill entire rooms without an engagement which simultaneously being able to craft armor so strong that you can walk into any boss fight and not so much as even have to dodge them.

Amazing game. I loved the graphics, gameplay and story. However, this isn't a deal. You can get it at this price (or cheaper) from many storefronts just by searching on google shopping. I'm pumped for the upcoming DLC's though.
I waited for first patch so I missed a lot of issues. Now after a few more it's been really smooth on the Xbox one X. I still may crash once a night but it's telling me take a break on 6hr sessions.

I own a Xbox one x too which is why I was slightly tempted. Boy, I really got raked across the coals in dislikes. I mean just a month ago, someone posted the same deal and got more positive than negative responses.

I'll bet most of the downvotes are from people who haven't bought or played the game.
That being said, the game is still a pretty big let down, especially given all the hype. For being an open world game, it's still very linear, and rather boring/repetitive outside the main story. And there are still a lot of bugs, glitches, and awkwardness, though I have a Series X and can't remember the last time I had a full on lock up or crash at least.
