Fake overpriced Texmexican food. IMO. Plenty of local businesses I would rather support then overpay for Texmex
Let's be real. A burrito costs you 9-10 bucks just about everywhere now. Getting one with a better range of ingredients makes this a good alternative.

And if you get it stuffed with enough ingredients and get some sides (like beans and salsa like do), you can get 2 meals out of it.... so it's really a pretty great deal when you compare.

True, pretty much any franchise restaurant falls in the middle of what's available locally. Many truly local places are just pure garbage, others are outstanding. You don't go to a Chipotle for their superior food, you go there for (more or less) consistency between locations. In places where Taco Bell is the only "Mexican" food that common people eat, or on the road, a Chipotle offers a much better experience while maintaining speed and affordability.

Maybe but that's a hefty premium to pay for consistency. I'd rather pay 50% less and roll the dice but that's me.

Nah. There are plenty of great Mexican places that still charge around $5 or $6 for a burrito that's just as good.

Dead? I get up to the checkout page and it keeps giving the error "Please double-check your billing address and credit card information." Tried desktop and mobile device.

Edit:
Nevermind it worked. Used a different card. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

Maybe in some areas, but not within miles and miles of me. As much as I like to dump on Chipotle their chicken is usually pretty good and their portions and selection are often generous. Bowls always turn out to be a 2 meal affair unless I wanna stuff myself to illness.

Chipotle has gone downhill year after year on quality. I think the only thing they cook in-store is the chicken now? Everything else comes in bags. Would much rather support local mom & pop shops even at the same price.

Heard a friend call Chipotle a Shitty Mexican Subway and that's about accurate for what it has become. Used to be one of the best.

I'd go with the Chipotle credit card.

It costs $149/year to subscribe, but you get 5% back on all Chipotle purchases, and double frequent flyer miles on Spirit Air. And you'll be helping out the environment.
that's terrible

My Chase MileagePlus card had a 5% back Chipotle offer, that was triggered by the gift card purchase. Max cashback $1.50, exact threshold for a $30 purchase.

I quit trying after my first order went through and was then cancelled after I got the confirmation.

I don't trust their site and I'd rather not try additional cards for them to add into their database.

Sure, I'd like a free burrito, but I don't need one that badly. There have been so many breaches and hacks happening to many large corporations.

Not that long ago, I got a message that my info was compromised in a Home Depot breach. I used my card at Home depot once or twice.

Yep it's horrible, who the hell is going to pay $149 every year for a chipotle credit card?

I can see paying a yearly fee for an Amex platinum or something like that, but a chipotle card? LOL
