Note that compared with the MF642Cdw currently on sale at Best Buy for $70 more, this one lacks duplex printing and an auto sheet feeder (scanning is flatbed-only). It's also a little slower, at least by spec.

I am tempted to get this model. I am looking for the color printer function only. Is this a good price compared to a basic laser color printer?

I ordered the Best Buy one but now thinking about this one as the Best Buy one doesn't auto feed the scanner and not sure duplex printing is all that important to me. Any thoughts on if it may make sense to save the $70 and get this one? Something else I'm missing that makes the BB one better if duplex doesn't matter?

If you plan on printing photos then inkjet is actually better for that.

This will print color documents just fine though.
