In my experience, Brother color printers have inferior color accuracy.

If the quality of your color prints and photos isn't a big concern, then go ahead and go Brother.

Toner is where they kill ya. Get you a used B&W Brother MFC- L2740dw. Color printers are overrated.

yes, I have a canon 733dw and I use generic on that. Black and all colors are generic, working great.
