I appreciate your input on the overall set, but it is unfair to compare prices from 4 years ago and say it isn't much of a deal. Comparing the current price over the last year's varying cost is much more appropriate.

In 2017, my house was worth about 300-325k - Today, it is worth about 100k more.

This is a nice set if your starting some DIY projects. I feel Ryobi gets a bad rep, but they do a great job in keeping tools backwards compatible with their evolving batteries. If I didn't have the tools I have already, I'd go with this.

Doesn't work like that. The tools are a kit under one sku.

Looks nice.
I would get it if I didn't already have Ridgid drill and driver. Trying not to rathole myself with multiple lines.

The oscillating tool plus a 4Ah + 1.5Ah battery seems worthwhile. Ryobi has a lot of tools to go with the line up, and based on what I've seen is very good for a basic to intermediate DIY'r

I don't need like 4 of the tools, is it worth it buy and return the driver, drill, reciprocating saw, circular saw? I want the batteries, charger, multitool, and I guess - the light and bag.

I love my Ryobi tools. I have a large collection, with the batteries and chargers to go with them. They were part of my every day DIY life in our "fixer-upper" that we owned for a little over 5 years. We've since sold that house, but I still have my tools and use them often.

That being said, this is not much of a deal in my opinion. I bought a similar combo back in December of 2017 for $159.43. It was the 7 tool combo kit with charger, bag, and two 1.3Ah batteries. Yes, this kit has a 1.5ah and 4.0ah battery, so that's an improvement. Also, the drill and drive kit is useful (I have the same one...pretty sure I bought it for < $20). But does it close the $60 gap? Nah.

I only need the multi-tool since I already have everything else. Could of course sell the rest, but maybe I just sit this one out since I already bought the router/two sanders combo earlier this week. laugh out loud

Good chance to jump into the ecosystem if you are on the fence. I will wait until the 25th to cherry pick individual tools when the Home Depot sale goes online. I have most of the tools in this set already.

Kind of being cheap here but hey I'm on Slickdeals. New home owner and looking to get Ryobi tools (I have 0 tools) and a weed Wacker soon.

Feel like I only need a drill and recip saw plus batteries. You think memorial day sales will be better?

I got this same deal ur referencing, I think it was around Christmas 2017 cause I got the set for my hubby. I don't think they'll ever be that price again tho the way the economy is heading

The drill and impact driver alone (tool only) is probably about $100. The batteries and charger alone would probably cost $60. For $60 you can get all the other tools in this set for really cheap in case you ever need them.

I have this set and remodeled my entire bathroom making use of each tool. I wish it had the jigsaw which I highly recommend. No complaints from me on this.
