I am probably late to the game, but I'm looking for a ring light and I have seen so many posted here on SD. Is there one you recommend? I thought the price was good for this one.
Depends on what you're using it for, but overall look for one that's NOT USB powered.
For example, I have this [amazon.com] and it's extremely bright, but large (and overkill). I use it for primarily portraits, and food lighting.

Bought it for about $17 not too long ago. Didn't need a tripod since I have a suction cup mount I'm using to attach the ring light on the back of my 27" monitor. My primary use is for Zoom meetings. I don't have a whole lot of light in my work area and this provides more than enough lighting at the 2nd to the lowest brightness level. I think it has 10 brightness levels.
In my experience these usb ring lights are bright enough to make a substantial change when the subject is less than 8' away.
These are not pro ring lights, they are for video chats and youtube/tik tok etc,
These lights are for the type of video you take with your phone's front facing camera.
Perhaps higher bulb lumens is more appropriate vs higher watts when speaking of brightness levels especially with LED bulbs.

Can't find where they state the power source is USB. As I know, most of this type of LEDs use their own power adapters to operate. I mostly use 3 set of similar LED panels to take product Photos. They make my job much easier.

No these tripods are really flimsy. You're better off buying some $20 standalone tripod.
