These USB powered ones are NOT bright. Keep in mind the max amount of power that can be sent through USB, which, from what I understand less than 18w. This is more like 5w.

my only critique is that if you plug it into a 2.4A USB port, it might overload and turn off. Maybe 1.5A or 2A maximum.
