Should say "WITH qualifying purchase".

Hmmm 🤔 anyone know if these are a good value as a starter drill kit?
Looking at the P208B + Charger + 2 Batteries "FACTORY BLEMISHED" for 64.99
Walmart had the bare tool for 39.99 at some point
Edit: that one ain't good I'm thinking. Next up seeing the P215K kit is only $10 less than Home Depot. Not sure that's a good value for a factory second.

I got this set last week when they had this deal. Good set with a ton of variety but I'd say 70% of it is very niche. For the most part, you'd get more use out of a specific $20 set than this $50 set.

With that said, the bits and drivers are of pretty good quality.

To correct this post, the website explicitly states the tool set carries a 39.99 value. Not 49.99.

I got this bit set with the Ryobi fan deal from last week. The bits are good quality but I can't for the life of me get the bits back into the plastic carrying case. I'm not sure if anyone else having the same issue.

Every Ryobi bit I've ever used was crap. I'll stick with the big names from now on. It's not worth stripping out any more screws.

agreed with jammer. ryobi has great value, but their bits are truely suited for things like hanging picture frames, attaching cabinet knobs, and driving the occasional screw around the house. sort of a kit you get just to get you through a few jobs. pick up a good set of milwaukee/bosche/etc "impact rated" bits. its the one thing you definitely shouldnt cheap out on. alternatively, get the ryobi set, but then get a pack of these:https://smile.amazon.com/gp/produ...UTF8&psc=1

cause the phillips is likely what you will use 99% of the time...but id also get myself a slightly better set of drillbits if you plan on drilling through anything other than wood.

IMO i would value this set at about $20 max.

Picked up a drill and driver with this set. Agreed bits are best for wood vs metal.already dulled 2 with drilling out stainless hardware.maybe equivalent of hf basic bits. It is nice to have variety of bits and drivers to just grab and go.

In for one with a 1/4" Impact for $30.

Direct link for the qualifying items - https://www.directtoolsoutlet.com...less_Event

Link for the cheapest available item (refurbished 1/4" impact) - https://www.directtoolsoutlet.com...r/p/ZRP235

I've got a few tools from Direct Tools that are recon/refurb. Aside from coming in a brown box and having a mark on the body, they've been just like now.

OOS on the bit set. It adds it to the cart, but it wont checkout with it there.

Thanks, that seemed to be what my problem was.

Tempting, I can use all the tools in this kit, except the impact driver which i already have.

Maybe I can sell it off.
