I have this set and my kids LOVE it. We bought the mesh swing to go along with it -- that's a hit as well.

The set is super well made. It took about 14hrs total for assembly, but that was with many beers and a toddler as my helper (who was constantly running off with my tools). It's very well made. I have zero concerns about durability. And when my kids outgrow it, I think it will be in good enough shape to actually be able to pass it on to another family to enjoy.

One tip: The metal can be a little slippery, even when dry. So buy a can of non-stick spray and just coat all the stairs and monkey bars. Big, big difference.

Just for comparison's sake, I bought this in April of 2020 for $2000 when they were running a $600 off sale. My guess is that sale won't be coming back around, and I'd buy it at this price anyway that's how much I like it.

Thanks for the tip! Did you install the mesh swing in the position of the cantilevered trapeze bar? Does it get in the way of the monkey bars?

And yea, I know it's not "on sale" per se, but I was ready to pull the trigger at $3200 from Lifetime. With demand this year, I can't see Costco offering the $600 off again anytime soon.

Yep, my toddlers are only 3, so didn't really need the trapeze bar at the time, but since then I've hung it up under the platform by the propeller swing with some carabiners.

The swing doesn't get in the way of the monkey bars at all. It's close but I can still do the monkey bars without hitting it.

Enjoy it!

Can you post what the non-stick spray brand or can that I can buy at home depot? Tried a search on home depot but strange cans show up and probably not the one that I can use for metal. Thanks in advance.

Sad when the consumer has to look at pseudo-commercial playground equipment because lumber is so crazy.

I actually bought mine before lumber went completely nuts. Mostly because I did not want to have to stain/sand regularly to keep the playground in good shape.

Also, the wood ones are likely to be trash/firewood once the kids outgrow it. This one I believe will allow me to resell it or donate it to another family. May be wishful thinking, but that's the plan anyway.

Now if only I could build the addition I want on my house with metal playground parts....LMAO

I have a ~ 20yo Rainbow cedar one I got from my boss about 10 years ago - he had bought it for his son who is now 23-24. I did have to replace a few pieces of it, but the main beams are still fine. I've also added onto it (monkey bars); it's getting on in age and I don't want to just keep replacing parts so I had been looking to do that this spring but these types of sets are impossible to find due to the whole lumber issue.

If we wind up replacing it, it will probably just go to the burn pile..... I guess I could offer it for free locally and at least have someone get rid of it for me for free too.

Good price and I'd buy it if they offered the Earthtone version. It looks like they are only stocking the primary/red version
