Side note: this model was worth $530 off during the two day Mother's Day T-mobile trade in promo (NOW DEAD: https://slickdeals.net/f/15008953-t-mobile-trade-in-eligible-device-get-iphone-12-series-up-to-830-off-via-24-monthly-bill-credits?v=1). Might be a good idea to get one and hold on to it in case of future trade in promotions. Of course there is no saying how much they will value this unit in future promotions.

In general, do these trade-in offers accept locked phones? I wanted to bite it for trade-in purpose...any idea?

Might be something to keep in mind if anyone's doing a stupidly-high trade-in on iPhones. I bought an iPhone 6 for ~$60 and traded it in to Google for $250 when they released the 3a.
