I have been using Brooks glycerin for running for years and they are great. Last year I got 2 pairs ultra boost 19, one is PR and they are comfy to walk, but didn't really think they were as comfortable for running. The Brooks glycerin are more cushiony and more comfortable for running.
I 100% agree that glycerin are actually made for running and Ultraboost is more of a fashion statement. Close, but no they're not as comfy as ultra boost. Brooks is a quality brand but a little on the stiff side for me. Once the Brooks break down some they're like walking/running on bricks where as the boosts just stay the same until they're completely roached.
Tried on my 1st ub today... it was a bit tight in the mid sole section... had no issues walking around for work. I decided to hit the treadmill and felt instance pains in my knees.
