I have had decent success with Walmart Brickseek deals in the past if there were 2-3 available. Now, it seems that Walmart is changing its reporting system (as mentioned on Brickseek website as well). I was at my local Walmart last night and they had 3 Netgear CM500 modems on display for $45 each. This morning, the price dropped down to $13.5, still showing 2-3 available. I went there in evening, very sure I will be able to get 1. Not only were they not present, their price display sign had also been removed. Chatted with 2 different employees and was told that they got sent back to Walmart this morning as they are changing how they deal with clearance items.
Needed a wifi 6 router for my Quest 2.. brickseek shows limited stock at a nearby walmart but I took the gamble. Glad I did! The store attendant had to check the price twice but I came out the door with the Netgear ax1800 for $34.75+tax. Thanks OP!
How good is this router? How is it vs. the mesh one?
I don't think you read it right. I was at the store 3 times following the Brickseek deals. There were items in stock but the store was not ready to honor the price. Then I contacted customer support in store and online.
So you're saying that the price listed on BS is different than what's at store for your location? That's something new.

These are store specific clearance prices, not universally priced reductions across all of Walmarts.

Yeah, I'm kind of wondering if that's what they were trying to say incorrectly the second time around. Clearance prices almost always vary (mostly effected by when it was put on clearance, if at all) and this is with just about all B&M stores whether it's Home Depot, Walmart, or Target.
Hmmm? I have a CM500 with a Netgear AC1900. I have Blast 100 with Comcast. I get 140 to 160 on Wi-Fi and over 200 wired. My router and modem are 4yrs old. Check the Wi-Fi channels and pick the best one. You probably will get better speeds.
Wow your even slower then me downloading.

Well good for you! 👏🏾 👏🏾 not everyone has time to do Walmart touring Hunting Unicorns 🦄. Also my Rant is about the Inaccurate of Brickseek system & walmart inventory system. Systems should be efficient and help consumers to save Money & TIME. Peace ✌🏾
Things take time to update. Normally it is not a huge deal. They arent going to spend oodles of money upgrading so you can have a easier time finding your unicorn.
Found a few in FL
-Anker SoundCore Rave $89.55 (down from $199 MSRP)
-Anker SoundCore Mini2 $15.70 (regular $37 here) Both are Stereo- pairing BT speakers
-Logitech G703 (w/ good sensor) $22.25 (vs $89)
-Monster Mood LED kit $6.70 (vs $19.95)
-Open Box vibrator (will def hit with sanitizer before tasting if it's been used)
Hah! My speed for my service is excellent! My speed is supposed to be 100mbps. I get 140 to 160 on Wi-Fi and 200plus on wired. Yes...the service I pay for is not fast...i don't need more than 100mbps but the speed I get from my hardware exceeds the speed provided. Therefore, the point im making is...check your hardware. What speed are you buying from the isp?

I am buying 1 gig speed on a life time promo from cablevision for $60 per month. What are you paying for your 100mps service. Maybe I will just downgrade mines.

1gig to me is overkill but the price is outstanding. I pay $80
and get 220 wired. However the CM500 can't handle 1gig. It's 680mbps max. If your using one then that's your problem. Hardware. You'll need a CM1000.
I have gotten plenty of these "unicorn" deals. Quit crying bro. Life doesn't revolve around you
Not in the west coast / Southern California I'd imagine.
Full disclosure I have gotten 2-3 of the smaller item unicorn deals in the past but nothing since covid and nothing since all the inventory reporting problems

Yeah I am going to have to upgrade to a better cable modem. I am currently using the SB8200 cable modem. Maybe that's why i am having crappy speeds.
