At first you will probably HATE your very firm mattress, over a few months as it softens up a bit, you will wonder why you ever bought a soft saggy mattress!
It's very difficult to research mattresses because the industry sells the same mattress under different names at various retailers. But if you compare the number of coils, the composition and thickness of the various layers, you can usually figure out competing products at different retailers, then just buy from the lowest price. I like us-mattress.com because they give comprehensive info about relative firmness, coils, layers, total weight, user reviews, etc., about their products. You can use this as a starting point to compare similar mattresses at other retailers by trying to match up some of the info. It's not always perfect, but it's the best way I have found to make an informed decision, in an industry that doesn't want consumers making informed decisions.

I'm looking for something extremely firm/hard to sleep on which is comparable to a non-carpeted floor. My back is killing me.
Search mattresses then filter by brand and free gift. There are different links for different deals

Also this one is considered an innerspring type not hybrid, even though it has components of memory foam? I bit the bullet and bought some, but am a bit nervous.
it was in the cart (i think) but i don't find it anywhere in my order status.
is this correct?
UPDATE:
never mind. something went wrong.
cancelled (chat) and reordered.
all good now.
White Glove: - $335
Room of choice - $275
I looked at the mattresses at Macy's the other day and stopped looking really quick when I saw their shipping charges.
