In Sept fcc ruled that cable companies no longer have to support or provide cable cards. Most companies will let you use it for sometime but good luck replacing it

I think they will replace the cablecard if I threaten to go to Netflix... Cable companies are actually dying, not the card itself.
Compare that to $350 for a Bolt (refurb) with lifetime = $350.

would love to get new hardware, but it will be EoL in like 3 years.
