This is a great deal IMO.
This camera perfectly compliments a mirrorless in the situations you don't want to be constantly swapping lenses. Even at $700 it's worth considering.
At $500 i just bought one. These Sony 1" cameras are the best 1" cameras you can get.

I fell for this compact camera. I figured, hey, maybe I need something inbetween. It was a complete mistake. I never use it. It fits in my pocket but frankly, it's useless. A smartphone can ~almost~ do what it does, and what it does is not impressive enough to warrant the hassle. The full frame will always blow it out of the water in quality, and isn't difficult to carry in a backpack. Just my 2 cents. I wanted it, bought it, wish I didn't. End of story. This is a remnant of a decade ago, and unfortunately i realized that too late. They bribe a lot of blogger and spend a lot on marketing to convince the public that this is the new cool thing. In reality it's a 2010 tech line clinging to life in a world that doesn't need it. Use your phone and real camera, don't fall for this, that's my advice.
