Just FYI cheap products like this one with rechargeable batteries are not safe to use. Just read some of the 1 star reviews to see reports of it smoking while charging and another review of the charger getting hot and damaging the cable. Look for UL or ETL listed products. You've been warned.
I got the 2 pack of this a while back. The fish are not as fully stuffed as the fish my sister bought elsewhere. But...I can't say enough good things about the lobster option. My cat loves it! It's soft and fluffy and has a ribbed belly. She loves all the textures and cuddles with it when I turn it off. Skip the fish get the lobster.
Got the fish a while back, cats played with it for all of 2 minutes before they figured it out. And walked away, never to play with it again.

Yeah, these types don't have the best charging system. We got one of those multi-hole circular cat toys off Amazon. Junky usb charger melted. It didn't even have a real charging circuit, just a slow charge using current resistance. Don't expect the charger or especially the batteries to last. Replaced junk batteries with lithium and a real charger.
Well, I'm a Slickdeals sucker, I got these last deal. My cat couldn't have cared less, my morkie on the other hand, absolutely loves them! She flips them around and loves the reaction when they flop. I haven't had any problems charging them, but I have only charged them a few times, when they are dead and she's bored with them not moving. Honestly they have lasted longer than most of the other toys she's had. I'd grab a few more for a smallish dog, because they move she doesn't just use them at chew toys. Big dog might just shred them 🤷
I got the Fish on the last deal. If you load anything with catnip, as you should with this fish, my cat is all over it, It gets found once a week or so for a minute or two and is tossed and attacked. My two Goldendoodles ignore it, so it still lives.
I got the lobster. My cat 100% ignored it. I even rolled it in catnip. He didn't care. But my golden retriever who already has 1000 toys? He loves it. He picks it up and carries it everywhere while it's slapping him in the face. He keeps sleeping with his face on it, will shift, and it starts smacking him in the face again and he just cuddles into it more. Entertainment for me until he decides to destroy it, which should take about 15 seconds when he decides to.
I have a home health nurse and home health aide who come out and they couldn't stop laughing at the stupid lobster and my dog. Not the intended use but in the end, probably worth the $8 one time.

My cat would likely get more satisfaction from playing with the box.

Maybe the motor guts would be useful for scaring people, and I can fill the fish with more catnip!
