Yes, I bought 3 of these with the intention of trading in to help save some $ on a new iphone. Worked easily. Phones looked to be in great condition.

I found instructions for the unlock SIMs that don't have the pop up menu on this ebay listing

https://www.ebay.com/itm/154345407797

Please be aware the ICCID can change at anytime and sometimes the ICCID on the chip will have to be edited before doing the unlock. Once updated it will unlock your device.**

To edit the ICCID use a unlocked device.
Go to settings -> Cellular -> SIM Applications ->EDIT ICCID ->EDIT ICCID

You can open this website to get new iccid anytime
http://www.chinaonesim.com/en/
http://www.heicard.com/

That listing is for $9.99 which is overpriced for one without the pop up menu. I got mine for $1.90 from the listing I posted here
https://slickdeals.net/forums/showpost.php?p=147724000&postcount=70
The only problem is that I don't have an unlocked iphone to edit the iccid on the chip

Basically you use an unlocked iphone to change the iccid on the chip then you move the chip to the locked iphone and it automatically programs it with that iccid

If you don't have an unlocked iphone then pay a bit extra for the one that has a pop up menu

RSIMs/R-SIMs (also known as a Turbo SIM or Unlock Chip) come in versions, don't they? I think it may be important to pay attention if you are buying an RSIM 12 versus an RSIM 16, 15, 15+ or 14+. (I'm not really sure, but bringing it up in case it is important.)

Purchased a couple of these. In mint condition, apple warranty until 3/22/22, and got them unlocked for $63 a piece with DirectUnlocks.

you are certain that they are successfully unlocked?
Was it a network unlocked?
Are you willing to reset one and see if it's still unlocked?
I remember several years ago I had an iPhone 5s remotely unlocked via a seller on Ebay.
Once I did a master reset, the unlock went away.

$63 a piece?

I'm being charged just $28. Though I can't get pass their payment system. They want me to contact their customer support.

I confirmed with Total Wireless that the 25% off code DOES NOT work for this deal.

edit: I got it to work. A chat person DID say the 25% does not qualify for this deal. I also read the "exclusions disclosure which does say it shouldn't work. But it did work when I used another device to order.

Who did you get that from? A random rep you got when you called or used the online chat?

Confirmed 25% off worked and order processed.

For those who use unlock SIM chip. Do you activate the phone with the $25 TW sim first at all? Or just take the TW ($25 credit) SIM out and pop the Unlock SIM chip in to unlock it?
