With the crazy mark-ups & lack of availability, since this time last-year, making investing a/o collecting a MAJOR kick in the shorts, I believe I found about the cheapest price for junk 90% silver as I could.

Might be helpful to others as my search continues (God, am I going to be hurting w/ the pre-orders for the 2021 Morgans & Peace dollars from the U.S. Mint next week)

Can't wait for the transition to begin to a moneyless shared resourced based global society. We waste so much time counting, hoarding, saving and settling for second best. Companies are at a stand still with innovation because of the barriers associated with finance. Imagine never again having to deal with our absurd monetary token based reward system and just creating the most efficient greatest use products possible...plastic disposable crap gone, not having to compromise on a lower quality product because you can't afford the very best...NOW THAT WOULD BE A SLICK NEW DEAL and a better world.

HINT: It's BEEN in place *shrug*. $ > fiat paper > debit cards > everything online/crypto

Gonna be a REAL hoot when they can just cut off your 'cash' flow for any reason they damn well feel like it

You got a Skittles-pooping unicorn to ride in that world you're popping off about? I mean, there's already a multitude of qualities to damn near EVERY product on the market that YOU can pick what best suits your needs/price point. But to believe biz is in the biz to make best/baddest for whatever YOU can afford == pure fantasy. Sorry to burst your bubble back to the real world.

This is historically not a SD. Junk silver could usually be had for 12 X face and anything above 15 X face was considered overpriced just a year ago. So you could easily walk into your local coin shop and for $120 cash walk out with a roll of pre 1965 Washington quarters. The supply is limited and now these hyped up dodge coin boys want in on it and they are artificially hiking up the price. So yes is 23 X face less than the going rate of 25 X face but is it a SD, no.

This is a false statistic based off of an inflated price based off of manipulation by the hunt brothers. Do the same comparison for any other year since 1981.
How then do you explain gold being over 2X it's 1980 price and silver half....?

As some others have stated, 23x is 'okay' under the current market circumstances, but it's still not great. 20-21x is what I'd consider a good deal right now. It's fine though for those looking for junk silver.

Personally with prices so high currently I'm more into numismatics, proofs or if going with bullion, coins or bars with lower mintage or designs I simply like.

Junk is good for filling up books though, if into that sort of thing.

Not talking about gold but silver and excluding 1980 because we all should know what that price reflects.

Look at the historical prices of SILVER including 1980 yearly low column and tell me where the sale is. You guys sound like a bunch of JB YouTube followers.

Looks like current melt is around $200...so 30 over melt is about 15% premium. Doesn't sound too good to me.

So buy high sell low? Worst time to buy silver when its sky high unless you believe the U.S will collapse soon. If so I prefer lead over silver.
Lol,

It's never been cheaper compared to the buying power of the federal reserve note. The price is artificially manipulated by unbacked securities. There's a huge shortage of physical silver, yet somehow the paper price stays flat. Hmmm... I'm sure there's nothing to see. Just keep those federal reserve coupons. The inflation is just "transitory" and according to the same people didn't even exist until a few weeks ago.

I'll make you a deal. I'll buy all your physical silver at spot price. Huge deal for you since the price is "high."
