I called my local Costco and it is NOT stocked in their warehouse or any other Southern CA location.

YMMV $25 at bestbuy https://www.bestbuy.com/site/cors...Id=6440359 if you need just the keyboard.
The Issue is refurbished, no telling who used it.

It is not being sold as a combo.....but a lot of Walmarts have this exact keyboard right now on clearance. It is going from around $12 - $25.
I have not looked closely at the mice ...but I did see a few on sale too.

Might be an alternative for those without Costco Memberships.

there's nothing wrong with a membrane keyboard honestly. i've spent a lot of years in the mechanical keyboard hobby and there's a lot of elitism around it. this is a solid combo on a budget. $50 is a pretty hard budget and you'd have to double it to get something substancially better for the combo.

Good keyboard and mouse.
The only issue with the keyboard is the C key on the top left. My hand automatically goes on it whenever I have to press Esc.

I had a far better experience with a $30 Microsoft Internet Keyboard Pro membrane that I used for like 15 years than I do now with my Roccat mechanical keyboard that cost like $150. I actually hate this keyboard because the keys are more cramped together and I constantly make typos. That MS keyboard was a champ.

I have the Corsair K55 keyboard and the Harpoon mouse.

I really like the tactile feedback of the keys for the Corsair keyboard and it's pretty quiet, so it works out well for coding, typing, and gaming.

The Harpoon mouse is not bad, but I dislike that the cord is on one side of the mouse. I found out that the cord actually messes with my accuracy and side movement coming from a Logitech MX518 where the cord is in the center, so I went back to that mouse. That mouse goes on sale for $20 from time to time in Best Buy, so I'd recommend that instead. The Harpoon mouse is good for backup.

Used the k55 keyboard for two years. The keyboard itself has been really reliable and still feels like new - no stuck or depressed keys. The software on the other hand has been a mess. Lost my macros a few times, the new version of the software is a complete overhaul but previous versions have hung/crashed. When the keyboard initially came out - the software was stable, but somewhere down the line the newer versions of the software became far less stable. Also the gap between keys and below the space bar is really large, alot of hair and dust gets in there.

I'm using Harpoon mouse for almost a year for work and games. Little to no wear, decent ergonomics.
I'd wish cable was a bit more flexible but man - paid $20, this is an absolute value king. It doesn't make much sense to pick up any other mouse unless it is over twice as expensive as Harpoon.

I tried keyboard only in the store - felt alright and it wasn't too loud. Didn't see anything wrong with it. Perhaps not a typists first choice (keys got a fair amount of resistance, but that's part of the fun with membrane keyboards) yet nothing one wouldn't get used to over time.

The k55 keyboard is REALLY quiet compared to mechanical keyboards. Plus the feel is like 60-70% there as well. Get this and your family, roommates, gf/bf will love you (or at least stop hating you 😂)

I have the k55 for this very reason. I bought a blue switch keyboard 3-4 years ago and felt great. but then realize you can hear it echo throughout the 2nd floor even with the doors closed. quite annoying late at night.

got this instead and it's not bad. nothing close to the feel, but not mushy at all. and obviously more quiet.

will lookout for k55's on clearance
