As long as it's an authentic card, I wouldn't see why not.
There is no bad batch in chinese products. Everything will get shipped no matter what.
When it gets too obvious, then it will get mixed with the okay ones to fulfill a production demand.
Also, the Amazon, Walmart, etc "easy returns" excuse, it will not get shipped back to where it came from.
It will be too expensive to ship it back so it stays in this country where there's a good chance it will still be sold in a different way (ex.ebay, newegg, walmart market), "different " seller, and of course mixed again with a newer batch.
Just avoid third party sellers (Sold by "some guy") and you're fine buying SD cards on Amazon.
Now I'm picturing sentient terra cotta statutes of Bob Ross, David Hasselhoff and baby yoda with chia hair all mining for Bitcoin using fake micro SD cards.
Mine only lasted 2 years just an fyi

Google H2testw. Its a program that will check any memory card. I check every card I buy, and yes, I have had 2 fakes bought directly from Amazon (not a 3rd party seller). Its lousy that you can't trust a vendor like Amazon, but my data is too important to lose to a fake card.
It does the trick but ideally you want the endurance cards vs the Ultra cards.
