With their constant solicitation calls, emails, letters, and ads in my vehicle for a very poor quality radio service, I'll pass, even when free.

The bitrate is about 64 kbps for music and 32 kbps for talk on Sirius.
The bitrate on Spotify HIFI/Tidal Masters is 320 kbps CD quality for lossless audio.

Use an app, connect a cable, and ditch the garbage audio of Sirius. (FM radio is 96 kbps)

The bitrate is probably somewhere between 24–48 kbps depending if the AAC variant is based on v1 or v2 of the HE codec. The sample rate of the played back audio is likely 32 kHz or 44.1 kHz which will yield 16–22 kHz of audio bandwidth.

We have been doing this for years right before going on road trips. Use a different name, a random email address, but the zipcode that the car is physically in at the moment of activation. I do think the trials have to be good and expired before doing it again though, so you cannot exactly go uninterrupted back to back trials.

Honestly I only like it for long highway road trips anyway. The sound quality is worse than FM (especially in the Mrs's car, it is very tinny and shallow sounding) but it's better than nothing if you're in no-man's land for radio and cell signals. And I don't know about you but I have had the same 20 mp3 albums on the USB drive in my car forever and I am sick of all of them. So any kind of variety is welcome on long trips.

No. Howard died when he allowed his life coach to change who he is. The current Howard sucks and needs to retire. 90s/00s Howard would kick today's Howard's ass. To many of his fans, he is dead.

We just bought a used car and I tried signing up but the website says we're already signed up for a free trial. Dealership says they didn't do it. But the unit in the car is prompting us to call it add to our free trial, but not giving us any channels.

So I really need to call and try customer service? Everyone is making it sound like a nightmare
