These two posts seem to conflict with each other. One post says the trials won't work back to back, and the other post says he does the trial every three months. Is the trick here to use different info like email/name/zip?
Yeah the different email/zip is prob the trick

Got one 3 month trial. When I try to get another says radio is ineligible. Tried with different names, emails, zips. Used vin, and radio is same results.

Just finished up 3 month trials on two cars using this deal. Was able to get another trial on one car but for the other it says not eligible. Seem to recall that's happened before - one of them I can keep renewing this way but the other car doesn't work until some weeks have passed.

You can also download the Sirius dealer app, spoof your location to a dealership, and activate your radio 3 month trial for free whenever you want. You'll just have to download an older version of the dealer app on a 3rd party site for it to work since they patched the newest one in the play store. I've been doing it for almost a year now with an old radio in my car.
This might not be working anymore. My trial ended yesterday and I tried your method. Installed v2.3 and spoofed my location to a local dealership. After I enter my radio ID and click "Refresh signal" the green circle spins for about a second and then just disappears. I waited for 10 minutes with the radio on but it never re-subscribed.

With their constant solicitation calls, emails, letters, and ads in my vehicle for a very poor quality radio service, I'll pass, even when free.

The bitrate is about 64 kbps for music and 32 kbps for talk on Sirius.
The bitrate on Spotify HIFI/Tidal Masters is 320 kbps CD quality for lossless audio.

Use an app, connect a cable, and ditch the garbage audio of Sirius. (FM radio is 96 kbps)

The bitrate is probably somewhere between 24–48 kbps depending if the AAC variant is based on v1 or v2 of the HE codec. The sample rate of the played back audio is likely 32 kHz or 44.1 kHz which will yield 16–22 kHz of audio bandwidth.
Damn right. I can't bang out like I want with such poor audio.

Has anyone tried renewing the 3 month trial (after having just finished one) recently? My trial expired a couple days ago, and I just tried doing another 3 month trial using different name/zip (the only things it asks for at the landing page), but received the error: "Unfortunately, your trial or paid subscription recently ended and your radio is ineligible for a trial subscription. However, you can start enjoying SiriusXM with this great subscription offer."

Tried both my radio ID and VIN, no dice. Any ideas?

So far it's still working. (Current) trial ends in May. I'll try to remember to post here if I run into an issue signing up for a new trial.
Sorry to keep hounding you on this but I need it explained to me like I'm a 5 year old :-)

My current trial expires on May 14th.

Based upon what I read of your posts, I read that you waited until your current trial expired and then you applied for a new trial AFTER your current trial expired? Can you confirm this - that I need to let the existing trial expire before re-applying??

Another confusing this from all of these posts is some say to use the cars VIN and others say they use the radio ID - what do YOU use and seems to always work?

As for a throw-away e-mail and BS phone number, name, and different zip code - I can figure those parts out - it's just the correct timing (or does it even matter) on WHEN to renew that I'm confused about.

Usually I can read through hundreds of posts and find the nuggets of info that are gold and matter but this thread is all over the place - your posts & directions need to be stickied up on the 1st page!

Thanks-again!

Yes, you have to wait until AFTER the trial is over. If you try to sign up while the trial is active, you'll be given the option to send a refresh signal, but not to start a new trial.

I use the link in this thread, and put in the VIN. It's worked every time except for one (I actually got the message saying I'd recently had a trial for one vehicle but not the other two, go figure). A quick google search showed a different three month trial (with a credit union I believe) that also didn't require a credit card to sign up. It was just the one time on one vehicle, I could have looked into it further but it hasn't been a recurring issue.

I personally try to make sure to sign up for a new trial as soon as the last one ran out (i.e. if the trial ends May 13, then I'd sign up the morning of May 14). Assuming the car's radio is off while the car is off (most likely) or you're parked in a garage that blocks the signal, the radio won't immediately get the shutoff signal. Sign up for a new trial before you head out that morning, and it'll never get the shutoff signal (because once the radio is on and gets the signal, they have stopped sending the shutoff signal and are instead sending a signal to start service). If you forget, it just means that you drive to work with the Preview channel instead of 90s on 9, and have to have the car on while you start the new trial (so it sees the signal to start service).
Thank-you so much for the extended detail... I'm ready now to graduate 1st grade! ;-)

I'll report back on the 14th... In the mean time, I'll start googling for other potential trial links just in case!

My dude... DI.fm! Been listening to them since the early 00s.
This sounds interesting but not my kind of music, is there something like this for alternative rock?
