I have three of these. The switch failed on two of them so they are stuck in strobe mode. These flashlights are only used every few months so they were lightly used and the switches still failed. The one that still works is going strong though. When they work, they are good flashlights but only having 1/3 work within 2 years of purchasing has turned me off from purchasing any more.
Anker is making a brand out of slickdeals, everyone loves a flashlight. Price high and sale everyday. Well played
Bought this years ago. Button went wonky it only flashed after maybe a year of very light use. Maybe once a month. Would not buy this again.

This flashlight works great. Very powerful light compared to my old flashlights.
Got us through the big winter storm here in Texas back in February.
Will likely buy another one.

Can't say I've had the same experience. I've had 4 of them (2 of them magically walked off one summer), and the two I have remaining are still going strong. They hold a great charge for a long time, have extremely high output for the price, excellent build quality. One I keep in my house, the other is in my truck. They're great for hurricane season since I can charge in the car with the USB charger in the truck and swap them out.

That being said, the problems you experience with them, Anker has a great customer service. You might have a good outcome contacting them and letting them know the issues with the switches. You might've gotten two from a poor batch of parts.

I have this light and love it. I actually like the larger size compared to the WOWTAC A6 or Wurkkos FC11, which I also own and love. Its not a question of which is "better" IMO...just different designs/form factors that depending on the situation makes one preferred over the other. For me at least.
Were you able to find out how many hours of use in total that it will last on one charge?

I've never tried to quantify it, but anecdotally, my Anker LC90 seems to last much longer than the smaller WOWTAC A6 that I have. I use it daily to walk the dog and only have to recharge it once a month.

I'm not using it for anything tactical, but I like the size of this one and it has a little heft to it without feeling heavy. I've had mine for months now and still going strong. Great for checking the backyard before letting the dog/cats out to check for critters (We're getting those bufo toads around our koi pond at night). Charge seems to last a really long time. My wife likes using it for walking the dog in the evening.

Good light. I have some flashlights that are smaller and brighter (Sofirn etc) but after a few minutes they step down in power because the lights get hot hot hot. This one doesn't get to hot. Being bigger, it is sometimes easier to prop up. You can also whack someone pretty good with one of these. The notches on the rim can do a job if uses as a weapon (Self defense of course)

Same. That's exactly why I have 5 of these. This uses a replaceable 18650 battery and includes a built in charger that's protected under the cap. The switch was better on the 2 I have that are the old versions before the brand name changed but we've used them often for many years with no issue.

I've just moved on to other flashlights, like this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07ZZ2YFKD

I pulled the trigger on the Wurkkos based on your recommendation, thanks!

Are there any holsters or bands that these kind of flashlights can be attached to on bikes? Would you recommend any? TIA.

This one totally can. There's two caps on the end. You can only see one of them in the picture, the end with the switch. Underneath that is a second cap that contains the micro-usb port and charge controller. If you unscrew that second cap, you just get an anker-branded 18650 battery under there.

I ordered this and the barrel/zoom area was wobbly and loose and would make a clicking sound when walking holding the flashlight. My lc40 seems much better built. Returned thinking it was defective and the replacement was the same.

I've had one of these LC90's for almost 4 years and while I don't use it every day, it I has been rock solid. The zoom function works smoothly. Paid $21. The only thing I don't like is the way it forces you to step thru all the functions. I don't recall my new and more compact (non-zoomable) LC40 doing that.
