To recap it seems that the A72 eeks out slightly quicker with games, but the S9 is quicker with apps. I assume this is due to memory size and type...
That being said the A72 is a lot more than $199. I did no research into it, but I assume camera quality is also similar. So if you dont mind a smaller screen I would definitely say choose the S9 over the A72 just for the price difference.

My understanding is that any t-mobile locked phone will work with metro sim and any other t-mobile mvno sim like mint.
