Same here. Some years ago Best Buy had to refund people for collecting sales tax on these because they weren't subject to sales tax in certain states, like mine. I got a check in the mail. It's baffling they are still collecting sales tax in my state.

FYI You can buy TMobile prepaid balance refills on Ebay for ~30% off. That is how I have been paying my bill for the last year or so.
