It has an app where it notifies you when the load is running or finish.

Also, you can remote start the washer or dryer. Good if you are on electric TOU rate plans

Great deal. This washer was #1 recommended by Consumer Reports last I checked.

Gas model dryer on sale as well, $100 more than electric.

Your laundry area will dictate which type of dryer you should use. If you have a gas hook-up, go with that. Electric needs 220V. Running either a new 220V or a gas line is expensive so go with whichever is in place.

The date given at checkout is apparently an estimate. Mine was over a week after that date

They do supply a semi rigid duct, but FYI it's only the duct itself and will require using any existing elbows etc. i ended up using the one i bought because i liked how the hose had the elbows build in and required two less clamps with areas for potential issues.

They provide a power cord that is 4' max, so if you need anything longer you should pick one up. Like you i opted for a 6' cable based on my long narrow laundry room

My experience with a washer and dryer purchase from Costco hasn't been so great. I bought the Samsung Flex set that was on special on 5/6/21 with a delivery date of 6/1/21. Took the day off waiting for the delivery and at 1pm called Costco which transferred me to a different department of Costco, after 2+ hours on hold the Costco representative answered and I was told they do not have them in any of their distribution centers and do not know when they will be available. I received an email on 6/10/21 saying they are going to ship on 6/14/21, I do not know if they are shipping from a Costco distribution center to my house or from the Samsung factory in Korea to a Costco distribution center. I have no idea when they will be delivered but I am glad I didn't offer to give away my current set like I planed to the last week of May. My advice is if your current set is broke down I would be a little hesitant on purchasing one of these washer & dryer super deals from Costco.

My experience is similar. I just ended up cancelling my order because of constant delays. Bought mine on 5/27 with expected ship date of 6/8, and it got pushed back 3 times already with no additional information.
My guess is, they're out of inventory and just continuing to postpone expected shipment date. Complete bullshit and I'll just buy from somewhere else.
Never buying stuff from Costco online again

It ships from the manufacturer and not Costco, so i can guarantee this will happen at a lot of places. Unfortunately it's due to the chip shortages and other labor issues

I have scheduled 3 delivery attempts, but Costco logistics never show up. I contacted Costco support couple times, they escalate to Solutions team, but nobody ever responds back. I am really frustrated if I should cancel the order now, but there is no more LG washer sales in HomeDepot nor Lowes. I dont know if I should take risk ordering Samsung washer, but the bad reviews really scare me.

Do not get Samsung. Sucks to hear people have been having deliveries not show up. Not that impressed with Costco delivery overall due to poor communication, but the delivery guys i had were great

Just chatted with Costco support to cancel the order, what a supurise the rep said it cannot be refunded until the carrier returns the item back to sender. Huh? It cannot be delivered nor refunded? End up threatening to dispute the charge, then the rep go ahead to cancel the order for me. Never order anything delivered with Costco Logistics again! What a nightmare!

Sorry for all your trouble. I've never had any trouble with COSTO appliance deliveries before, but that was pre-pandemic. My washer/dryer delivery is scheduled for Tuesday. I wonder if it just an issue with the local contractor.

Hahaha. Samsung is great. I have a bunch of their products including a Refrigerator and Washer for years and haven't had any issues at all. I have Samsung microwave, TV and phones which have been perfect as well.
