That's a best buy date and not an expiration date. It'll eventually start to turn rancid some flavors will speed this process up more than others. 4 months past I'd guess it's fine unless it's MyProtein andthen it was rubbish the day you received it.

I do get tired of the flavor after a week or so of having it so proceed with caution. I take a break after a week and use other flavors before eventually coming back to it, so a tub lasts quite a while.
The problem is it has sugar and it's making me gain belly fat - gained 1/4 inch (because I drink 2x for 5 days). (Before this, I was on a no extra sugar diet - no sugar drinks. I exercise my chest daily, but I loose muscle mass too fast. Thus I needed this drink, but gained fat in the belly.)
1) Can anyone recommend a 0 sugar, non milk isolate protein - that I can get 24 - 50 g per day? Ty

3) Is "isolate" the protein I should be looking for, for quality?

Unless someone can convince me that it is trivial amounts? I drink 10x servings per week. So far I've only found 2 mixes that do not contain soy or sunflower lecithin. But "Garden of Life Raw Organic.." says it has Sunflower, which may be sunflower lecithin.]
