One of my favorite brands. Curious on the flavor... I guess if it works for beer, it can work for protein haha.

The fruity pebbles has a bit of an after taste and looks strange with all the colors. Free shipping for plus members.

Bought the 76 serving version from Amazon in March for $40.04. It's really good.

Protip: add 1 tablespoon of Hershey's special dark 100% cacao coco powder and now you have the coco pebbles and fruit pebble from the same tub. Adds 1 net carb.

Anyone know if a tub of whey protein powder 4 months past expiration is still safe/good to consume?

I stopped hitting the gym when covid hit and it's just been sitting.

Simple answer eat some dry or with just a little water and if it tastes bad it's spoiling.

That's a best buy date and not an expiration date. It'll eventually start to turn rancid some flavors will speed this process up more than others. 4 months past I'd guess it's fine unless it's MyProtein andthen it was rubbish the day you received it.

Fruity pebbles is great, especially mixed with milk. I have it with milk and regular cheerios for breakfast.

I do get tired of the flavor after a week or so of having it so proceed with caution. I take a break after a week and use other flavors before eventually coming back to it, so a tub lasts quite a while.

This is the best flavor. It tastes like the milk after you eat cereal. It's my "desert" now.

I got the Amazon deal and drink it 10x a week for protein. The taste is great, mild, not too sweet, no aftertaste or chemical taste - except a milky taste. Mixes pretty easy with water. Best to shake.

The problem is it has sugar and it's making me gain belly fat - gained 1/4 inch (because I drink 2x for 5 days). (Before this, I was on a no extra sugar diet - no sugar drinks. I exercise my chest daily, but I loose muscle mass too fast. Thus I needed this drink, but gained fat in the belly.)

1) Can anyone recommend a 0 sugar, non milk isolate protein - that I can get 24 - 50 g per day? Ty

2) I found this on Amazon, but not sure if it's good. "Garden of Life Raw Organic Vegan Protein Powder Shake with Vitamins and Probiotics, Sugar Free, Unflavored, 19.75 Oz"

3) Is "isolate" the protein I should be looking for, for quality?
[Edit: to partially answer my question: I would avoid a protein powder that has "soy lecithin" or "sunflower lecithin," which according to this link contain "phytosterols." "These isoflavones can exert estrogenic effects on the body. And estrogen, if you don't know, is the female hormone."
https://proteinfactory.com/soy-le...in-powder/

Unless someone can convince me that it is trivial amounts? I drink 10x servings per week. So far I've only found 2 mixes that do not contain soy or sunflower lecithin. But "Garden of Life Raw Organic.." says it has Sunflower, which may be sunflower lecithin.]
