And WVA display is IPS or similar technology based display (AHVA by AU Optronics or PLS by Samsung) in 99% of time. I have even checked reviews of Laptops by Notebookcheck, Laptopmedia where they are mentioned to come with WVA display and reviewers confirmed that they have IPS display. Those have been posted here multiple times in here.
Don't post your opinion here which has no base or proof but you just think it to be true. Dell Inspiron 7400 14, which is Dell's highest Inspiron line up, just after XPS series, mentioned to have a QHD+ WVA display. Are you saying then that also has a TN Panel, right?

Below is the link for the Dell Website of 3501 series and you can find all the information you need under Drivers, Manuals and Support Tab
Also, here is the link for the Product Specification. Go to the Page # 18 to find the Display details. It clearly mentioned to have a 220 nits display
https://dl.dell.com/topicspdf/ins..._en-us.pdf
Next time, try to find out the details like this if you're getting any Dell Laptop, even from other sites.
Anyway, I have no issues about what you think of the Laptop or whether you want to keep it or not, just saying that your assumption that WVA is TN Panel is a completely wrong idea you just put it over there without checking any actual data.
