For the majority of smartphones in the past 10 years, the digitizer and LCD/Display are bonded together, so both are replaced. Additionally, Samsung OEM parts include a new frame of the device and a new battery installed as well

The display replacement is a full Glass/OLED/midframe/buttons, as well as a new battery

Including the battery? OEM parts?

Find me any shop that will replace a cracked s10 or better for $80? Most shops don't even do glass only repair, so they'll charge you for the entire assembly which is $150 minimum. This deal is very advantageous for folks with newer devices, and even for the older devices since itll be a fix supported by samsung warranty.

As someone who works for them, I'll add some details about uBreakiFix. We have a 90 day nationwide warranty for repairs that does NOT cover accidental damage if you drop and crack your phone. When we do repairs on Samsung/Apple OEM/Google devices such as in a screen repair or battery, we use OEM parts and adhesives, as well as press pads, so when you get your phone back it should be water resistant still, especially for Samsung's.
I took advantage of the deal last year. I'm still using the phone. I had zero issues.

I mean I'm sure they aren't infallible. Obviously taking a slight chance on any repair shops botching something when they do a fix, but I think a $50 screen fix is worth it especially if you plan on trading in the phone toward a new one come promo time. This isn't free like the last time a year ago. That was a much hotter deal.

It probably would have made more sense for them to say "delete comment" instead but the underlying issue is that SD doesn't allow people to delete their own posts/comments, though I've never understood why.

The best we can do is edit, delete everything, and replace it with something else, which is why most just leave the word "delete." I've yet to see if the mods actually delete those or just leave them up as is.
