As someone who works for them, I'll add some details about uBreakiFix. We have a 90 day nationwide warranty for repairs that does NOT cover accidental damage if you drop and crack your phone. When we do repairs on Samsung/Apple OEM/Google devices such as in a screen repair or battery, we use OEM parts and adhesives, as well as press pads, so when you get your phone back it should be water resistant still, especially for Samsung's.
Yes you have to input the IMEI into samsung.com while you are logged in
My old phone screen isn't working, so how can I access the IMEI? I don't have access to it at the moment, but how else can I find the IMEI without access to the phone settings?
This is bleeping joke man...both samsung and ubreakfix $ucks bigtime.
So I have apointment schedule, went there, they told me come tomorrow morning 10 am. Again there today - they said, some reason they are not seeing my repair ticket ( the samsung gives me during apointment set up) into their system. And they ask me to talk to samsung.com suport. I logged into my account and show them ticket #, still wont honor. They have big a$$ flyer posted in their store for this promotion. Apparenly there s a communication breakdown between samsung n ubreakfix. Did anyone run into this?

On the box or via the sticker they stick on the phone

Yeah man, went there and they are like you have to prove you are a first responder even though Samsung already verified me

After talking to 25 samsung agents, realized that the mf - in ubreakfix who told me to come tomorrow messed up. If it doesnt get fixed during schedule time or something - they cancel the ticket?? Wtf -- now seems like there s no other way because creating 2nd ticket for same phone is not allowed, it is greyed out now.....i m filing a complaint against that store

I used this last year but it was FREE for health care worker.
In my experience, I had so much trouble going with the stupid UBREAKFIX
and I ended up just mail it in.
It was much easier that way.
ubreakfix will keep finding excuses to charge you more. They are the worst to work with.
There is also always a line in front of the store that doesn't move.
That's why I ended up mailing this in and it was so much more organize.
They will send you email and text for any update.
The whole process took me about a week.

Damn man I am in the same boat now but maybe I should change the ticket to mail in as well and just use Samsung direct to fix it
The Samsung website was a joke. Would confirm eligibility but everytime I tried scheduling a repair it would only offer to mail away to Samsung and not any of the 6 UBIF stores in the area. After 2 days, 3 calls and speaking to 5 different departments they finally manually generated an appt reservation at the nearest store.
My note 8 had a cracked front screen, broken glass back and screen burn in on the LCD. As some have already mentioned apparently the Note 8 has many connected parts because not only did I get a new screen but they replaced the LCD and battery. They even replaced the back glass at no cost.
Cant complain about essentially getting a brand new Note 8 after 4 years for $50+tax. To top it off about 2 hours later Samsung sent a thank you text with a link to a $20 promo code toward anything $20 or more on their site.
Did you have to show any proof (of being a first responder, teacher, etc) to uBreak iFix even though you scheduled it through the Samsung website?
The id.me thing isn't working for us, and uBreak iFix won't accept the special price without it.
This is insane! Samsung Customer service is useless, and the UBreakIFix staff won't honor the offer without a claim/conformation from Samsung. I scheduled with 2 different stores, never cancelled, just rescheduled with the second store and they both said they only received a regular appointment without any information about an offer, and they will have to charge full price. Any ideas how to resolve this?

UBIF refused to work on the phone until they had a referral from the Samsung website. Once I got that squared away (2 days and 2+ hours of dealinng with horrible Samsung customer support) the process went smoothly in store. The key is getting the Samsung referral which was a nightmare because no one knows who is handling the promotion. Talked with regular customer service then Promotions, then mobile tech services then repair and then finally premiere who gave up when they had no clue and manually created an appt at the store of my choosing.

I'm in the same dilemma. I'm sorry, what's premier and do you think I should just try to get in touch with them and ask them to schedule my appointment?
