As someone who works for them, I'll add some details about uBreakiFix. We have a 90 day nationwide warranty for repairs that does NOT cover accidental damage if you drop and crack your phone. When we do repairs on Samsung/Apple OEM/Google devices such as in a screen repair or battery, we use OEM parts and adhesives, as well as press pads, so when you get your phone back it should be water resistant still, especially for Samsung's.
Anybody get the medical discount with a government VA email? Whenever I login mine always shows everything with government employee discounts and says I am not qualified for this deal.
Call Samsung. Or make the appointment and go in with your ID. That's what I did.
This is insane! Samsung Customer service is useless, and the UBreakIFix staff won't honor the offer without a claim/conformation from Samsung. I scheduled with 2 different stores, never cancelled, just rescheduled with the second store and they both said they only received a regular appointment without any information about an offer, and they will have to charge full price. Any ideas how to resolve this?
I showed the screen shot. It so helped that when I called Samsung after getting a ticket number from the chat (mine was saying it wasn't eligible for that promotion). I also told the guy that Samsung called the store to make sure they had the parts for my phone, the guy acknowledge that they called him.
I'm in the same dilemma. I'm sorry, what's premier and do you think I should just try to get in touch with them and ask them to schedule my appointment?
Those were the separate departments I talked to in order before finally getting a referral from premiere. The last 3 are all internal departments that can not be directly contacted. The only way to reach them is by transfer.
Did you get your phone repaired at uBreakiFix or from an official Samsung store?
Repaired at UBIF that was affiliated with samsung per samsungs website - when you schedule the repair, the website will ask if you want to MAIL it or repair locally, after choosing locally it will show all the shops in your area that are affiliated with samsung.
If your appointment confirmation does not mentions the promotional price of 49.99, then there is some issue and it will not be honored by them. Make sure that you get the promotion pricing before you submit the appointment because if you cancel the appointment, the promo will be marked as redeemed.
Does anyone who sent their phone in to Samsung remember if they wiped the data? The instructions say that they will wipe it, but just wondering if anyone has first hand experience. TIA

Good tip. I have the email that displays the promotional price, the ticket #, the location of repair, and the phone needed to be fixed. I plan to call the UBIF location to ensure they have the S9+ glass replacement before going in. Any other form of ID or proof of 1st responder needed for this promotion?

Took my phone in. Came back, and they said the waterproof did not pass the inspection on the new screen. Therefore, they had to reverse the repair and put the cracked screen back on.

i got a good experience in ubreakifix in piscataway,nj. job well done all works and s20 is like new now. and my fake a/c for educator worked for $49 promo ..supprisingly.
As long as you follow the steps identified in the original post it should work just fine. I just took mine in (Galaxy S9+) and they had it done sooner than the estimate. No loss of data as they always warn about, etc. The Brookfield, Wi store did a very nice job for me.
Nice of Samsung to offer this deal. Timing worked out perfectly for me.

How did the account work for you? PM me if you prefer.
Took in my wife's Note 10+ with cracked glass/OLED. Employee said 2.5-3 hours but it was done in just under 2 hours. Very nice and professional at the location I went to. Didn't question the promo at all. Just looked up my scheduled appointment and printed a receipt. Crazy thing was the final receipt after it was all done said repair total was $358, with Samsung covering $308. Couldn't afford the full repair price, so thank you to the OP for posting this!
I'm eligible for this. I'm trying to send my broken S8 for screen replacement through mail. But the back panel has slight cracks will they replace my screen if back panel has cracks? As I heard of any cracks in back panel they won't replace screen. Please help
You will pay for any additional repairs at cost. BG is around $80
