Note: Watchmen itself is not included.
I heard Doomsday Clock was okay (not part of this omnibus) but that Before Watchmen was garbage.
I know Alan Moore hates it.
Watchmen HBO was amazing though - really went on that expecting little. Alan Moore hates adaptions and... lots of things.
So need to check out some reviews before committing.

Trust me when I say that if Before: Watchmen is available at your local library, borrow and read it from there. This format is also apparently in a bad order
"This omnibus edition collects every comic in published order, meaning you get issue 1 of all the series back to back, then issue 2 and so on. "
As for the stories... Well. I liked Manhattan, Minutemen, Spectre, and Nite Owl. Ozymandias is super, super pretty but sort of average. The rest are skippable (Comedian is just a giant cliche).
(As for Doomsday Clock, loved that comic from beginning to end. And I also think the HBO Miniseries is the best extension the original story has ever had)
