How much is replacement battery i can't even find it online they sell them? that's first red flag.
If I pull the trigger it'll probably be a gas job.
Oh well... 😒

Literally the only disadvantage an electric motor has vs a gas is energy capacity. With the advancement of batteries lately that gap is closing. Torque, rpm, longevity, etc of electric have always blown away gas motors.
In 7 years I've had 2 spindles replaced, numerous belts, 2 batteries, and I can't even figure how much in fuel. As a low estimate in 7 years I've spent at least $2500 in repairs, a majority of that would be covered by no gas. So I do see the appeal in an all electric. I would never get a stamped deck though unless you live in a perfect subdivision lot.
Edit: I'll even expand on this, I have roughly $65 a year in maintenance costs in a John Deere x304 riding mower(read: not cheap). Most of that averaged cost? Electronic components like the seat sensor failing every 5 years because electronic shit can't simply be fixed, it has to be replaced.
- Blade size is small (mine is 50" in comparison)
- Not good for around lakes as it lacks large back wheels and wide front wheels
- Absolutely cannot handle if your back lawn takes 2hrs on a current zero turn. You'll basically need to charge at least 4 times just to get the task done, likely more.
- Only 2 blades.. a reminder of how small this thing is
For those of you on nice estates, again I urge you to stick with gas for now unfortunately. Hopefully in the future they will cater to us but for now they only do it for people with small lawns to deal with.Edit: This is America these days. If you are successful in life and can afford or inherit an estate but you enjoy doing things yourself and taking care of the property yourself, you are still mocked and ridiculed (see next page of comments). Every time someone comes here for the first time, they always compliment the view, the property even if its just Amazon delivery.. my hard work, not someone I hired. I'm proud to not have a mortgage and live on such a place while still being young. I just wish those that don't would be happy for those that do instead of jealousy and envy, it's unattractive.

That said, I did pick up 10 of these for the annual Christmas toy giveaway in the city. Never too early to train the next generation for the jobs of tomorrow. Hopefully by then electric mowers will be a better fit for my very classy estate.
