The batteries on these are just golf cart batteries. You don't have to get them from a proprietary vendor. A huge advantage when these die. Leoch LPC12-75

3 years ago, we bought the 100Ah version of this, without the bagger. 3 years later, we still love it. We have 1.5 acres that are mowable, and we still have 35-40% battery left. All our yard equipment is now ryobi battery, except for the garden tiller.

I think it means the batteries still have juice after mowing that big yard, not the overall battery condition.

Yes - I paid $50 for a 15% off online purchase coupon. It's capped at $200 but it saved me $150 in total
Thanks. Our current coupon expired 2 days ago and I just made the call that we need a new mower. These are on sale for about 2 more weeks. Hoping we get a new coupon by then

Did yours ship? I just ordered mine on Friday and it shipped from Ohio yesterday. I accidentally selected store pickup and they wouldn't let me change unfortunately.
According to Home Depot it shipped on May 19th and was supposed to arrive June 3rd at my home. However fastmile (who they use for last mile delivery) still has not received it.

I just got mine today- my only concern is that the build date was 8/2019… I'm hoping that doesn't mean the batteries are already 2 years old

Home Depot now shows this offer as ending in 3 days.

Edit: Now it says "ends in two days", but the sale price is gone? Wtf?

Edit2: Called Home Depot. They said the timer is for the "father's day sale", which is unrelated to this item. Kind of dumb they marked it with a "father's day" tag then. They won't give me the sale price, so I guess I'm looking for a different mower deal now.

Edit3: After all that, they put the sale price back. Who knows for how long.

https://www.homedepot.com/p/Toro-.../310836476 - $2599, is $1251 less than the Ryobi listed. Simple google search, not on sale as I stated.

says ryobi battery last 5 years thats 4 batteries in 20 years if they even make them anymore.

How much is replacement battery i can't even find it online they sell them? that's first red flag.
Minor point, the mower uses 4 batteries. So it's really 4 batteries every 5 years or 16 batteries total over 20 years

Did you ever get yours? How long after the delivery date did they deliver it to you? I ordered a different Ryobi mower on 6/15 with delivery on 7/2. Last mile company (NonStopDelivery) says they don't have it and getting the runaround with Home Depot as to where it exactly is.

35-40% battery capacity left? How much are new batteries? I'm assuming you would need new batteries this year maybe?
Not sure why you got down voted, I read same as you.

Not ready to take the gamble on a battery powered riding mower given the high price. I am sure it is fine, but I'll let someone else be the guinea pig.

A cheap gas riding mower is $1000. This costs $1000 every five years in maintenance for batteries alone.
Where is $1000 gas riding mower ?
