People are gonna crap on Newegg for their bad return policy (which has improved recently) but if I was out in the market for a monitor I would buy this without thinking twice.

You can compare them side by side here: https://www.rtings.com/monitor/tools/compare/gigabyte-g27q-vs-gigabyte-m27q/12904/19668?usage=3623&t... [rtings.com]

I have the M27Q. It has some additional features that not everyone will use. Also, it's slightly better for photo editing. Not much of a difference between 144hz and 170hz, though.

I got a stuck green pixel on my FI25F glad to have bought from Amazon. Gigabyte support appears to be horrible...

Great monitor though best I ever owned except for that!

Also, as I understand it any brand can get the stuck green pixels except maybe Apple or whatever where you're paying for the quality control (among other things)...

There's reviews on bad light bleed on dark screens. Can anyone confirm or deny?

Never had an ips panel. Is this the one to get? I heard that ips is eye candy but all my monitors have been VA and TN. Thanks!
