The guy calling these 70 dollar speakers is a little disingenuous. Hes implying that they are 70 at their normal price point and reflect what what would normally get for 70 dollars. These are deeply discounted and punch way above that price point.

When you put these on stands they really don't take up that much more room than towers. Also if you don't have space for towers where were you planning to put two subs?

Anyways if you're budget allows it I'd get one of the half off call in Adorama deals Iconian always posts for a 5.0 setup. These might be a little weak as mains. Still a huge improvement over your sound bar though

Sound signature and stage is different but they both are enjoyable.

I just bought a Sony LX310BT Bluetooth vinyl player and want to use proper speakers ( been using BT ones for now). Will these dudes fit the bill? Do I need an amp also in order to listen? If so, any suggestions for that? Please let me know. Thanks in advance.

1 sub, it will be front side left. It's a pretty small space, definitely could not fit 2 subs...I'm still tooling with trying to make room for towers, though my fear is one be so close to the room's door it would get bumped into constantly. Thanks for the suggestions.

Finishing my basement with a projector setup (aiming for ~150" screen) and got the denon 7.1 from Costco for Christmas. Are these too small for front left/right speakers? Was looking at the monoprice Calibers for in-wall, but with the Klipsch deals today, second guessing myself. Thoughts?

Bought these for $110 a few months ago for my receiver and turntable. Sound is good, LOUD, but could use more base. It's a klipsch thing I think. For $70 it's a steal.
