I can't find anything that says high fructose corn syrup is banned in Canada. The Dietitians of Canada site has a link specifically discussing it and never mentions it being banned. They wouldn't have to cover it at all if it was just banned. https://www.unlockfood.
Likeless, it is not banned in Europe either. This article identifies that there is a production quota for economic reasons, but it is definitely not banned. https://www.livestrong.
