SK Hynix is #2 in the World next to Samsung. A lot of your hardware components likely contain SK Hynix. Apple uses only Samsung & SK Hynix, because they are simply the best. (This has nothing to do if you like Apple or not, the fact that their products are premium and they specifically use only Samsung and SK Hynix speaks volume as a Premium brand. The 2016 MBP was my last.)

This SK Hynix m.2 NVMe drive has 128 Layer NAND....all the components on the m.2 are built in house from the controller, dram and memory chips just like Samsung drives.

SK Hynix is top shelf, just not mainstream like what you're used to hearing, but SK Hynix supplies chips for many of those brands that you're familiar with.

This drive is arguably the fastest, coolest, most power efficient, reliable and trust worthy drive on the market today. Neck to neck with Samsung.

Don't hesitate to buy this drive. It's the best and just as good as Samsung drives. Both the Top 2 in the World. Period.
