I don't think this is fair though. Sure you might not want to pay again which is fine. But it's not just a graphics upgrade. There is a great amount of work for this remaster, especially the first game. From all the graphical improvements to major quality of life improvements, it does make the trilogy feel way more modern. With all the DLC included, it's plenty of value even at $60. This was NOT a lazy remaster like some can be. Just my two cents.
They "censored" very little. You can look up the differences… for ex, unnecessary closeups of Miranda's ass during conversations with her that doesn't impact the game one bit. Any "censoring" is nothing more than different camera angles in situations in the original that made no sense.

Why come to a deal thread you weren't interested in to begin with?
Mass Effect 3 was a great game. Your choices not mattering in the end sucked, but the game was great, up until that point. Even that isn't nearly as bad as people like to say it is. I'm sick of you fanboys bitching about that and acting like you didn't enjoy the rest of the game. You guys are a bunch of drama queens.

What exactly did they change in regards to political correctness?

Less Miranda booty.

Amazing games, amazing remaster and worth the $60 I spent on Steam. Easily going to get 100+ hours out of this.

5-7 bucks a game is my target. Already own the games. Paying full price for a game I already own with some improved graphics and 0 original content is no go for me. They should've have some cheaper upgrade option for people that supported them and bought the games back in the day to begin with. They are just milking it at this point. And as long as people are falling for it, any new good games with original content will be far in-between.

"...0 *new* content..." I think u mean. I am of the same opinion.

Doesn't matter. The point is that the value proposition is way different for people who previously bought and played the games compared to those that are new to it. As someone who has never played the games and thinks the prices are reasonable for what are apparently great games, I think they should give a huge discount to people they can verify are buying it for the 2nd time. Because if you've played through them all before, I can't see paying anywhere near full price all over again.

You don't have to buy it again. Or wait for a bigger discount. You're not entitled to a discount.

So origin vs the steam version, are there any differences? I mean do both provide controller support because that's important to me. I've dreamed of playing mass effect on a handheld game console which is why I'm waiting on the crowd funded onexplayer to be shipped out sometime between June and July. The Mass Effect Legendary version is the number one game I want on that. Should I hold out until I get the onexplayer in my possession or get this now due to the price?

Steam has far better controller support.

Even adding the game to steam via "non-steam game" is funky in regards to controller usage.

I'm basically using a separate controller adapter to "wrap" my PS4 controller as an Xbox360 one.

Get the Steam version if money is no object.

Please, ME3 threw away a bunch of the plot threads started in 1 and 2, disregarded almost all of your choices from ME2, had mandatory multiplayer, DLC that was necessary to make the game plot coherent, all that even before getting to the abortion that is the ending. It was a terrible finale to what could have been one of the greatest video game trilogies.

Well good thing the DLC is included but you're wrong about multiplayer being mandatory, the only thing multiplayer helped with was war assets and that can be acquired through side missions. All of the endings are pretty similar so if you wanted to skip out on multiplayer and side missions then you can. It's sad that they decided to say "F YOUR CHOICES" for the series finale but it was a great game (with DLC of course) regardless of that. On another note the gameplay was significantly improved on Mass Effect 3 and it's action oriented gameplay remains to be one of the best shooters ever created and a lot of people don't care about prior storylines (I know, it's sad but true). Saying it was a bad game because they didn't have enough time, patience, manpower or wtfever to include the umpteen plots they brought about in the first two games doesn't mean it's bad in its own right. RPG fans all over the world think about what could have been while shooter fans rejoiced. A lot of people share your opinion with the plots and story, but there's no denying it's gameplay improvements.

They way they changed scenes to censor stuff to taking ones out and cancel culture this to hell. me3 ending and beyond ruined this series now like last of us remaster coming to change story and remove stuff they think is bad out.... PC cancel culture next we be burning books gov bans of wait already did long ago. Sad art is being defaced and destroyed. Comedy hit hard too trust me many dont say some stuff...
"I hate cancel culture so I won't buy this product which I know is literally what "cancel culture" is but I don't like it so I will cancel ME for being part of it".

What?

"Why no gratuitious ass shots that do literally nothing but make the art worse" - Your local and very VERY vocal incel.

Cry more.

"Fall for it"? Don't be an idiot. I never played the series and with all the upgrades from graphics to QOL along with all 3 games with all DLCs? This seems like a no brainer to me. I do however agree that they should have an upgrade version for digital purchases. Physical has no proof therefore only digital should and only if it was bought before a certain date.

Absolutely agree that full price is too much for this if you've already bought the games. $40 is more reasonable. I wouldn't mind playing through again, but I'll wait a few months till the price drops some more.
